Well, St. Pat's Day is here. Time to tie on my apron, haul out the crockpot, and, despite my vegetarian leanings, cook up some corned beef and cabbage for my family of men. Phew, my kitchen is going to smell. Guess I can stand it for one day out of the year. And, I am well aware that I still need to bake that birthday cake for my husband (he keeps reminding me) as his b-day was last Friday!

Wow- you really made corned beef and cabbage?? I celebrated by having an Irish drink (Baileys) at McKinners in downtown Littleton!
