First of all, I absolutely love this book! I actually want to make these clothes!
Sew Serendipity was written by Kay Whitt, a former elementary school teacher who left the classroom to launch her own pattern company. Which, judging by these designs, was a smart move. This book features 3 basic designs ~ a skirt, a tunic/dress, and a jacket/coat. What makes them unique is in the creative way she combines fabrics and decorative touches, turning simple styles into one-of-a-kind pieces. The featured fabrics are gorgeous, where can I buy them? (Oh, better check the resource list in the back.)Included are full-size patterns with cutting lines to fit from XXS to XXL!
In addition to the super-cute skirt pictured on the cover, check out these designs, all made from a basic 6-panel skirt pattern.
